Cen QS Consulting prepared the BOQ’s for this circa £8m high quality hotel refurbishment and conversion of the existing 5th and 6th Floors at County Hall for Marriot Hotels.

Our sister company Censeo Consulting Limited priced and secured the project on behalf of our Client.
The proposed project consists of the conversion of the existing 5th and 6th floors, currently comprising a gym, changing rooms, offices, and treatment rooms to 35 new bedrooms across 2 floors with new male, female and DDA changing rooms as well as a new gym.
The bedrooms include 2 suites as well as a DDA bedroom. New corridors will be formed on both the 5th and 6th floors serving the bedrooms, changing rooms and a gym. The existing window frames will remain, with new glazing installed as well as secondary glazing where required. Additional capital plant is required to service the new bedrooms which will be installed on the 7th floor.

The project was procured under a JCT Standard building contract without quantities with a 36 week contract period and consisted of a gross internal floor area of 1,851m2.
